Planet Radio offers a diverse mix of African music from the South to East, West to North and Central Africa. The music draws on the tradition of Africa, wherever this music has had its influence all over the world. We pride ourselves for being one of the first online radio station in Africa, having officially launched on 25th of June 2011.

Planet Radio’s focus is on the youth, who are geared towards the use of smart phones and those who have access to internet connectivity for at least a period of 12 hours a day.
